rl2 on dialup? (56k)

hey guys i was wondering if anyone has played rl2 online with only 56k not broadband? is it still playable? can you still play it?

it says in the manual you need a minimum of 128k upload.

i...would probably go with the book in this case.

It's not playable. It will "work" (the game can't tell what speed your connection is) but the experience will be very poor.

The game requires broadband, a minimum of 128Kbps each way (256Kbps recommended).

Not only will it be poor, but you'll make the person at the other end have a crappy game as well.

its quite hilliorus playing someone on dial up you think you have made a 100 metre break in wide open space then 20 seconds later you see a player slide across the screen back wards and the other team have scored

its painful playing someone with bad upload and you dont want to leave becaue it costs you a loss!!


when someone has a good download a bad upload but you have both good they play great but you see lag heaven!! thats anoying too

I've got 35k at the moment, hopefully getting Broadband soon though. I say we have a match lol, that would be fun. What about if you are from Australia/NZ (I'm from GB)...Now that would be fun lol.
