I've played through the first few levels of Challenge Mode, and I'm really enjoying it - there's a few I'll have to go back to, to get the logo, the stars or a gold medal time, but hey, that's part of the fun :)

My only small gripe is when I go off the edge (as I frequently do :) ) my character emits a loud bloodcurdling scream - probably appropriate, as they seem to be falling a long way, but still somewhat unnerving!

The rest of the character-voiced stuff is fine - is there some way to only turn off/down the falling-screams? Or is my best option just lowering the character volume levels?

Gald you like it, Grant.

Best you can do for the scream is turn down the character volume.

you could also try different characters, maybe there is one whose scream isn't as annoying to you
