Hide the layer with the lines in it.
I have tried deleteing every layer...none seem to have an effect on the lines.
Here are the layers....which one do i hide

I was editing the uvs (shirt collar) - which is the layer with the lines which your meant to hide.
You need to edit the shirt layer and everything is sweet.

I cant work out how to view them all seperate.
Everytime I open the file, it's only got one layer, and it's locked...

rl2addict, i guess you're looking directly at the files in the strips folder.... the layers only exist in the template file that was published.
to edit over the top of the strips in the strips folder, your best bet is to create a duplicate layer over the top of it.

I think that's the one that's a .rar file, but I cant get it to open....
And before anyone tells me to download winrar, I have, it wont work...
If someone has winrar, and can save it in a different format that will still allow the layers to be seperated (if possible) that'd be great...

Ok, now I've got the layers seperated, now how do you actually edit the jersey (shirt) template?
Is that through another program? If yes, how do you put it back into this file, to add the shadows?

i was stuck where you were when trying to figure out the template..... so i started playing around with the tools to see where i could get with it.
while your on the shirt layer, use the paint bucket with a colour which should be the majority colour for the jersey. the paint should only fill the shape for the jersey unless you've clicked on the wrong part of the template.
use the pen and the shapes tools for your designs and import logos from the web and your on your way.
hopefully someone will create a walkthrough in the future, i barely know what im doing myself!!!

Great, thanks.
It'd be great if I could make it in Paint, then copy and paste it onto this layer, but it doesn't work.....
I'll give your instructions a go... but where's the pen?

You can make it in paint.
What i did was open the template in paint... edited the jersey with colors and designs, then put this in over the orginal strip template as a layer in photoshop.
I then added everything else I needed in photoshop....but make sure you put the layer you editied in paint down the bottom of the list of layers...otherwise you won't be able to see the creasings and shading.
