Advice for all those attempting to start forums:

If you took notice, you would see that most of the popular forums around are actually part of a main website. Attract an audience with a website that contains news about whatever your topic is, and then lure them into the forums to discuss the articles. Thats how a successful forum is started - not going to one of these "create your own free forum with a rediculously long domain name" sites and then appointing all your friends as mods.

An online soccer manager game which is awesome! I'm trying to get more Australians to join. England ppls you can join aswell, so can you Kiwis but NZ aren't in it yet, but if you sign up to Australia then NZ could get included soon and you can trnsfer to NZ.

It's very confusing at first, it was for me aswell and Inearly quit now I have one of best teams in Australia after just 10 months of playing.

As we all know http://sportsuniverse.co.nr (http://sportsuniverse.co.nr)is an amature forum.

That means we are not paid to run this forum. We do it as a hobby. This is NOT a negative. In fact it means we can allow alot more free speech than what a commercial site can as we don't have to worry about offending sponsors and advertisers.

However the downside of an amature forum is we don't have a commercial site, that we can feed traffic from.

BUT there is something we can ALL do to help this site grow and attract new members with new views (making for healthy discussions).

Hey i was just wondering if you would like to join another RLSIM site. We are trying to gets some members to join. Before you say no and delete this message just read what i have got to say. First thing is that it is a copy of the original with many added things makeing it better. One thing you can do is use 70 stat points to spend on your player to make him lifelike, and once you get 1000 posts you get an extra 3 points to spend on your player (unless your posts are spam). There is also a salery cap but we still gotta find out how to work that. You can also design what your player looks like. So as you can see it is quiet different also since the original is gonna be slowing down your time why not waste your interent time with a different thing

I'd like to plug my soccer forum. I know it sounds a big faggertirish, as im a rugby lad myself but yea.lol

Its primary focus is on Pro Evo 6 the soccer simulation game, but the football (soccer) section of the forum seams to be quite popular. It will give you the chance to talk fottie with real soccer supporters (poms)lol, and theres plenty of Aussies to make you feel at home.
