League and union dont really work as well, because they aren't figures based. You cant look at a rugby scorecard and see how each individual went.

I had to do it though - He and I have a long-standing rivalry for the spinner's position in the first choice CricSim side. He couldnt take the heat though, and ended up turning himself into a batting allrounder. :p

The pitch was not spinning at all, so bowling a part-time spinner would have made little sense. The front line spinner in stevil didnt even get much of a bowl. Toothpick bowled his military mediums and was getting assistance, so Twizzle elected not to use many overs of spin.

Wicket keeper Twizzle drops back to #7, allowing Rusty FB, a bowling allrounder with genuine pace, to make his debut. b_olsen and go_the_raiders round off the attack with former CricSim Select XI player, JP, being selected as the spinner for Sidhe after he was released from the Select XI squad.

The changes have removed some pressure off cowboy-4-life in the bowling attack, allowing him to focus more on his batting. They have also injected some much needed firepower into the somewhat pedestrian attack with the addition of two fast bowlers.

Rusty only got four wickets. He bowled with genuine pace though and constantly troubled the batsman - he really balanced out the attack that had a "sameness" about it when stacked with medium pacers.
