powderfinger are my fav band, nickelback are ok...got nothing against them, and yeah, the older offspring songs like, meaning of life, bad habit, gone away, cool to hate etc are the best...

R & B/Rap is it for me. I was influenced by close family and role-models when I was younger, so I always leaned towards this genre. I rememember when I was about 7, my sister (who was 20 at the time) blasted TLC's 'No Scrubs' constantly. This sort of started my love for hip-hop and R & B. But, I do enjoy all types of music. I like Nickelback, but it seems not alot of other people do :confused: . I also like some Aussie rock bands and early rock, as well as classic soul and R & B from the Motown era (my mum still plays these sorts of cd's regularly).

Totally agree, rock today just isn't the same as when bands like Boston and Supertramp rocked the airwaves. Less substance.

Everyone has a different music taste. Like a lot of people here love all of those aussie bands, but i really hate them all. Over time bands have lost all that originality they used to have, it all sounds pretty much the same. Especially all of those aussie bands. But again, this is my opinion.
