I dont even like Fosters. People in other countries think thats all we drink, its so not the case.

Corona is not a beer. Anything that needs to have lemon put into it to make it taste good is not a beer. It certainly doesn't belong in such an esteemed list of drinks.

Lion Breweries here in Wellington make a lovely wee number called "Sultry Dark" - it's a top notch brew. Otherwise I'm a huuuuuge fan of another Wellington beer called "Emerson's Bookbinder". Beewdiful, mate! :D

E1st - Crown Lager(when its a special occasion) and Guiness(whenever i find someone who sells it AND can pour it)
E2nd - Tooheys Old(what i drink whenever im at a pub or in town) and Extra Dry(whenever i go to a party)
3rd - Tooheys Gold(what i keep in my fridge)

If anybody gets to Europe, try Becks. Its brewed in Hamburg and is the real thing.
By the way, we do get XXXX and Fosters here, but to be quite honest it tastes like cat pee. Its brewed in Northhampton, is sold as the Original Aussie amber nectar.

fosters and kb are dodgy, dodgy beers. tooheys new give me heart burn for weeks after i drink it too. only out of the carton, i never drink it out of the tap unless someones shouted me and didnt know to get me an old. but i dont get the same effect out of the tap

New is awful stuff. I've never tried Old, admittedly, though I do enjoy Extra Dry.

KB is for westies. ;)

Guinness is some nice tasting beer, nice and malty.

It ain't the same thing - it's like the Heineken's or Guinnesse's that are brewed around the world - nothing like their orginals. Becks is a good beer, haven't found many in the UK that I would rave about.

Before I left NZ, i had started drinking 'Speights Pale Ale' - it's one of their new 'boutique' beers and it's damn good.

Tui is a good drink to have at the Rugger. (not the Aussie Toohey, the NZ Tui).

One word lads - Empire!

It is awesome, although I love many other beers. I've probably tasted around 50 - 60 around the world, but I keep coming back to Empire. Probably because the imports we get in Australia are p*** weak compared to their origins.

Carlton Draught..........made from beer, it is fantastic out of the tap.

Coldies are great in a stubbie though.

But any amber liquid, as long as its cold has got to be good....then again, i have tried a New Calodonian beer...Number 1 and that was too sweet

i agree,u shoulda put in crown lager,and KB isnt the same as CL its completely different,KB is more bitter,so i voted tooheys new on this 1 coz thats the best 1 there...they should get Reggie reagan on this poll,i know what he'd vote 4...KB!

No one has mentioned Hahn Premium, now thats a quality drop.
