The Dragons gotta be the best team on paper. But i think that their playing rubbish at the moment and when they snap into it and stop playing crap they will win almost every single game by at least 20 points. They are the sleeping giants of the NRL and when they wake up every one will notice: your thoughts on what I have said :D

There a great team on paper if they have all their players available. But they are always ravaged with injury. I'd be angry if i was a dragons fan because their best team never runs out, I mean Trent Barrett is never playing, he's always injured!

Actually, I think this is the first time in a while the Dragons don't even look good on paper.

It doesn't help to have the most clueless head coach in the league, either.

bah, they are awake, but don't give a crap. The senior players let down the team with poor effort, plus the awesome young players who've been let go so that barret and gasnier and the other bunch of underperforming ball droppers and text message idiots can get their $350,000 a season. They are going downhill. Need to remove the fat at the top, and work with the young players, and get some pride and loyalty into the Red V.

none of those teams are that great, theyve just had a couple of seasons where theyve gone better than usual. people have very short memories. noone gave a **** who penrith was three years ago, people talk about how good the st george side is but really, parramatta, please, those blokes had ONE good year and havent won three games in a row since. weve just grown too used to commentators talking the teams up(so as to talk the competition up)

Gasnier- Yes, One of the best "On Paper"
Cooper- Good Player
Best-Has Been?
Barrett-Is a Good,\ 5-8th
Head-Dosn't come near Gower, On Paper or the field
Ryles-Clinton and Cayless are even
Enniss- Compared to Priddis and Riddell on Paper! HA!
Bailey-St George have a very good front row on paper
Thompson- Compared to these guys "On Paper" and on the field, they make thompson like a worthless 2nd Row..
Young-Morrison and and espically Pulatuea 10X better on paper/Field
Timmins-Great player


So, St George have about 4-5 Good players on Paper, and when they perform, 5 good players on the field

Eels
Roosters all have better "Teams on Paper"

ah mate some of those players i already know are better because higher numbers are better than the lower and Dragons will wake and start listening to their fans and prove to rest of competition how good they are. Their only youngest side in the comp. So dont say anything when it comes true and dragons win the comp it might not be this year but they will win one in next five years

priddis playing for nsw doesnt mean much, either does clinton playing one game for aus. mark hughes played three games for nsw but isnt really that good. gasnier hornby and cooper played for nsw because daley is the selector and is also st georges biggest fan. ryles is a ****** big . worse than josh perry. names dont mean ****. they have to play good for more than one season to be good players in my books

Dragons names are good because they have been the biggest players in the state of origin and for NSW and not QLD which means alot more and it not just Daley and if it was they wouldn't been selected. There side is very young the oldest is 28 and the youngest is 18 and the average is 24 so went they more experance they will kill sides if they play to their potential

The NZ side is not nearly as good as AUS.Trent Waterhouse was only in side because Timmins was injured.Gower is not nearly as good as Johns or Kimmmorley.Priddis because Buderus was injured.Lewis is crap compared to Cooper and Gasnier and Tahu.Clinton I could name alot of better players Bailey, Ryles,O'meley,Price, Mason,Webcke,So you should only have:Galuvao,Puletua,Rooney,Wesser thats 4

Timana Tahu wishes he could be as good as Luke Lewis. Tahu has been riding the coattails of the one good season he's had his entire career. He's nothing special.

I used to hate it when the Channel Nine commentary team used to go crazy when Gidley would throw that flick pass to Tahu. Never mind that it ended up in an error more often that it succeeded.

Joel Clinton is the second coming of Martin Lang. I bet defensive lines love it when he gets the ball because he runs with no angle. Defensive players just line him up and smash him, just like they did to Martin Lang.

Guys, none of you can really come to any decision, we are all to biased. We are at this forum because we love rugby league and we all have our team. Im a Dragons fan, but im not going to sit here and tell you all that the dragons have the best players, some of them are good, but you will all think that players from your team are better.

I really think that the media puts way to much pressure on teams such as St George. Consistanly the papers and the comentators tell us that the dragons should be coming first or second, but they don't, i think that if the media stopped feeding the country **** like this, then the dragons wouldn't feel so much pressure, then they might start performing better. Then we can come back and talk about who is the best player.

Also, don't lay so much blame on Nathan Brown, he is a top bloke, a great player and im sure he will eventually make a really good coach. Remember he stopped playing only like 5 years ago and he left because of injury, which means that he is quite a young coach. He has been thrust into the head coach position without the coaching staff around him like Ricky Stewart has, don't be so tough on the poor bloke.

yeah totally agree. I just wish they could handle it though because it causing all sorts of problems. They will be stronger because even if they are struggling now
