his name is Feleti Mateo he is a parramatta jnr playing in the second row, he is a good young talent and comes from good stock. I think he is making his first grade debut soon and he is being touted around as the next Fuifui. Just thought i'd let you know first.

I will have my 50 cents and say David Taylor is a young second rower who looks promising and will probably start of the bench sometime next year. He is only 17 but he has the skills and strenth to be a powerhouse.

He has already played first grade actually.. about two or three years ago. At that stage he was an absolutely massive five-eighth. Then he got sent on loan to some English club and now he's back.

He'll be in first grade from round 1 next season I'm sure.

Feleti Mateo is an awesome player. His best position is in the second row but he can also play at five-eighth. I have saw more of him in the past other than just the grand final, and he has a really good kicking game. Maybe next year, this would be my 2007 Eels squad with Mateo in the side.

1. Luke Burt
2. Jarryd Hayne
3. Ben Smith
4. Timana Tahu
5. Eric Grothe
6. Brett Finch
7. Tim Smith
8. Nathan Cayless (c)
9. Mark Riddell
10. Fuifui Moimoi
11. Nathan Hindmarsh
12. Chad Robinson
13. Daniel Wagon/Feleti Mateo

14. PJ Marsh
15. Feleti Mateo/Daniel Wagon
16. Michael Vella
17. Ian Hindmarsh

I think Robinson will be at lock. It's his best position IMO. That'd leave Ian Hindmarsh in the second row with both Wagon and Mateo on the bench. We must remember though that the coach is Michael Hagan and he is in love with Todd Lowrie, so he might be there.

That's what i think too. He might have Todd Lowrie in the side before Mateo.

Talk about it, how is todd lowrie a 5/8? Hes not even that good at playing second row, no doubt Todd Lowrie will most likely replace Smith at Halfback sooner or later.

He better not. Lowrie is a back rower and a back rower only. He is not a five-eighth, and in my opinion a pretty average back rower as well. I hope he stays in premier league most of the time next year, i prefer Feleti Mateo over him. Infact i rank these back rowers above Todd Lowrie for the Eels next year:

- Nathan Hindmarsh
- Chad Robinson
- Daniel Wagon
- Ian Hindmarsh
- Feleti Mateo

There is no way Todd Lowrie should get in the side above those players

I agree Todd Lowrie is a crap 5/8 and a crap backrower. Waste of time for the Eels to sign him, its only coz Micheal Hagan loves him.

Todd Lowrie isnt as bad as you guys are making him out to be. Yes he does suck at five-eighth and why is that ? Because its not his position Hagan only put him there is because he was using him as an exta foward he wasnt there to make plays. He is pretty decent backrower. if theres a hole in the defence and he gets through it he will do alot of damage to the other team, and i saw him do that against Manly this year. Although i agree the Hindmarsh Brother, Robinson, Wagon and Mateo should be ahead of him. But you people are making him sound like Ben Czislowski, Which he isnt.

Ben Czilowski isnt as bad as you guys are making him out to be. Yes he does suck at wing and why is that ? Because its not his position Folkes only put him there is because he was using him as an extra forward, he wasnt there to make plays. He is a very decent prop. If theres a hole in the defence he'll get through it he will do alot of damage to the other team, and i saw him do that against the Sharks last year. Although I do agree that Ryan, Mason, SBW and O'Meley should be ahead of him. But you people are making him sound like Todd Lowrie, Which he isnt.:)

I dunno if he WILL be (Tim Smith was labeled as a superstar of the future too (though I still have confidence in him)), but he certainly looks like it.

Yeah true but when you compare him to Tim Smith, Smith had faults in his game like his running game. But i cant seem to pick a faut in Taylor, His a foward so he doesnt really need ball skills like passing, kicking etc. but he does. He is Huge and he isnt slow at all. I just wish he played for Newcastle because he is definatley the best Junior foward i have seen.

Whos Kris Inu?
Young Parra winger. Scored 4 against the Aus A side last year in Sydney. Aus A had Barret, Cooper, Mason, Bailey, Thurston and Grothe so no second grade team

I think Zeb Taia is pretty good too. Did alright in his couple of first grade games this year.
