Describe what you think makes a good movie, I think you need an actor to really fit the part, Like you cant have some fat guy as a muscly strong football player.. It has to have a good story line aswell.

I also think if the movie is going to be funny, Make me laugh so hard im crying and in stitches and if its going to be scary, Make me scared to the bone so that im shaking and I end up having nightmares!!

Too much sex scenes ruins the storyline IMO. You have to have a great 'original' storyline and as mentioned earlier an actor who fits the part. Saving Private Ryan was good for this type of blueprint, a great story, and Tom Hanks playing the homesick captain who had seen way too much bloodshed. Infernal Affairs (Hong Kong classic) is a great movie to watch. The Departed is the Hollywood version of it, but lacks the edge that only Asian cinema can produce.

Its got to be tasteful. You can't have sex in a trench in a war movie...

'Darlin' I might not make it home tommorrow... so how about letting this mortar shell enter your village?'

'Oh Brian....'

*Cue corny love music*

'I'm about to .... ARRRGGGHHHHH'

It doesn't make sense! I'm not saying that there shouldn't be any sex scenes, but the placement is pivotal to how the story advances.

Cheesy action movies with cool heroes shooting more one liners than bullets.

Examples

Army of Darkness (Bruce Campbell)
Tango and Cash (Sylvester Stallone, Kurt Russell)
Commando (Arnold Schwarzenegger)

etc.

'You'll be with your Daddy soon... wouldn't that be nice?'

'Not nearly as nice as watching him smash your face in'

HAHAHAHAHAHA :D

'Are you scared, cos' this green beret is going to kick your ass'

'I eat Green Berets for breakfast, and I'm still hungry'

'10-4 to the second level, I got a 6"4" male and he's one big muthaer'

I watched Commando yesterday with my girl. It was her first time, ahhh the memories.

a good movie has to see a ard c^$% or champion for the leading actor. ard C$#%s include

clint eastwood
charles bronson
fred ward
paul snr
vinnie jones
arnold schwarzenegger
john wayne
samuel l jackson
the rock
robert de niro
al pacino

and to a lesser extent
wesley snipes
jason statham
mel gibson
burt reynolds
john c mcginley
willem dafoe
gary busey
kurt russell and the like
NOTE. sylvester stallone, keanu reeves, vin diesel, bruce willis, barry hall and other actors like them are NOT ard c%#@s and are to be known from this point on as tiffanies

CHAMPIONS are usually weak and cant do much but mouth off and hand out the occasionally cheap shot. they are still good however and will do just fine as a leading actor. some champions include
eddie murphy
sean william scott
johnny knoxville
geoffry lewis
bruce campbell
chris rock
bill murray
jim carrey and such
NOTE ashton kutcher and any other like him are NOT champions. they are shirt lifters. and when theyre too tired to lift shirts, they will resort to biting the pillow.

the movie must see something happening to the leading actors brother, mentor or friend at the start. it ALWAYS must be a brother and not mother/wife or kids because the latter ALWAYS whinge too much and usually only get slapped instead of killed. also, this leaves the hero wide open to pork the smoking hot sort at the end of the movie.
along the way, there should be a few laughs at the ratio of about 1:5min. the hero must get the help off a hot chick and SOMEONE should be hit or shot in the nuts either 1 or 2 times. it gets boring after the second so forget a third. there should ALWAYS be some tryhard who is pointed out as the ardest of the ard (usually) the bad boss' right hand man and he should ALWAYS get his ruined by the hero. towards the end of the film, there should be some MAJOR ruining for about 15 minutes up until the fight with the big boss.
the big boss can either be a massive strong guy whos unbeatable or a wimpy little old fart who has some advantage over the hero. either way the hero MUST dodge 6 billion bullets but must always end up with a slice in his chest or bullet in his arm. then the hero figures out how to beat the big boss and instead of giving a swift clean blow, bludgens the crap out of, and generally brings the pain to the big boss. the hero must then give a one liner BEFORE killing the big boss then walk out of the area to score with the hot chick who helped him out some way in the movie and forgets about his best friend being killed. credits

Good action, Less CG the better, Johnny Depp, good story, Jackie Chan etc.
The stuff you need.
