When I was watching the Eels game last night I was just thinking how many damn times they have been on normal tv this year. I was bored and thought I'd conduct a bit of research as to how many times each team has featured on the Friday or Sunday Channel 9 coverage this year. This is what I came up with:

Broncos- 7
Bulldogs- 4
Raiders- 0
Sharks- 2
Titans- 4
Sea Eagles- 2
Storm- 2
Knights- 2
Cowboys- 1
Eels- 6
Panthers- 4
Rabbitohs- 2
Dragons- 3
Roosters- 2
Warriors- 0
Tigers- 5

It is interesting to see that the sides in the top 4 currently, that being the Sea Eagles, Storm, Cowboys and Sharks have all only been shown 2 or less times whilst the 13th placed Broncos have been shown the most, 7 times. The 11th placed Eels have been shown 6 times. I'm a Knights fan but I immediately think what about Raiders fans who don't have Foxtel? do they have to follow their team by radio? Channel 9 should pick up their act and stop shoving Parramatta and Brisbane down our throats each week!

Its bizarre that the Titans dont have many games and the Rabbitohs either. I would have thought they would have had many more games.

It all about money. I think there is 1 QLD 1 NSW game every fridaynight. Broncos make the money in Queenslan coz they put them on coz majority of Queenslan people live in greater Brisbane area. Also The Titans are the new side so there is plenty of interest. In NSW the Doggs and Eels have huge fan bases. The Tigers get there share of games coz of Benji. Everybody loves him and wants to see him play. The Panthers are a populer team amongst the Isanders and Kiwi`s living in Australia because they have so many Kiwi`s and Islanders in there team.

And the Warriors have an entire country plus about another million kiwis in Oz and yet they get zero.

They always have and always will show the Broncos on 9 regardless what day they play.

They always have and always will show the Broncos on 9 regardless what day they play.

That's only in Brisbane, and only happened last year. Also, it's only with the crappiest commentators ever.

I have had it with the broncos gettin all the air time, it's been happening for years and years. It (channel 9 coverage) needs to be spread evenly throughout all the teams.

They should cross the ditch a couple of times a year for the warriors games, and travel south to canberra for raiders games as well. after living in brisbane for a couple of years, the rugby league coverage up there was all broncos 24/7. there was hardly any coverage on the other teams
