When I was watching the Eels game last night I was just thinking how many damn times they have been on normal tv this year. I was bored and thought I'd conduct a bit of research as to how many times each team has featured on the Friday or Sunday Channel 9 coverage this year. This is what I came up with:
Broncos- 7
Bulldogs- 4
Raiders- 0
Sharks- 2
Titans- 4
Sea Eagles- 2
Storm- 2
Knights- 2
Cowboys- 1
Eels- 6
Panthers- 4
Rabbitohs- 2
Dragons- 3
Roosters- 2
Warriors- 0
Tigers- 5
It is interesting to see that the sides in the top 4 currently, that being the Sea Eagles, Storm, Cowboys and Sharks have all only been shown 2 or less times whilst the 13th placed Broncos have been shown the most, 7 times. The 11th placed Eels have been shown 6 times. I'm a Knights fan but I immediately think what about Raiders fans who don't have Foxtel? do they have to follow their team by radio? Channel 9 should pick up their act and stop shoving Parramatta and Brisbane down our throats each week!
