View Full Version : A FINA swimming game, Mario this would sell heaps world wide

So many people around the world enjoy watching the swimming, yet there isn't any swimming games around.
It would be great if SIDHE could make a FINA swimming series, e.g FINA swimming 2006 (FINA is the "FIFA" of swimming incase you didn't know).

Many pros could be included, tournaments and arenas from all around the world. I would love to have relays in it and kick the USA's (sorry for the language Muzza, I'm sure you know the big rivalry with AUS and USA in swimming).

I'm sure this would cost alot to develop coz of licensing of player names, arenas and the FINA name (doesn't have to be used though) but SIDHE would make a huge profit in sales from a swimming game. Oh yeah, don't forget national Anthems for Gold Medalists :)

Anyway, would SIDHE ever consider this? There is not one swimming game in the world I have heard of and SIDHE could make many people's dreams come true.

A swimming game would be crap, in the fair dinkum department its not the most complicated of sports, swim up and down a pool. real stimulating. if you were going to do something like that you'd do athens 2004 style

Yeah i know, its not good on the ol controller either ;) but you get my point, how much depth in gameplay can you get in a swimming game?

Why would anyone want to play (even watch) people swimming??? Yes that is Kewl!!!! (I'm bein sarcastic). If you want you want to go swimming, go to your nearest river or lake!!!! :cool:

Over here, it's for individual people who can get more gold medals themselves at an Olympic games than what all of NZ do.
Speaking of Olympics (no I'm not gonna talk about London) swimming is like the major event to watch at the games. It's between that and Athletics.
