Horse racing games usually only sell about 10,000-30,000 copies in Australasia. Given that this title should be at the top end of the genre, we would hope to beat that significantly, especially given local relevance of the content.

We should be able to post some solid numbers in Europe too, and there is always the opportunity to take the title to the US also.

japan could even be a viable option as well , they are renowned for their love of betting , especially on the horses as well as they are at the forefront of video gaming!!!! what do you think mario?

My opinion and that doesn't count for much is no way it will be $49, this game is going to be huge and think it will sell for $99.95 rrp.

I think you'll find the game was one of the G1 Jockey series

I find that hard to believe

considering G1 hasnt had a new release in 3 years, and Gallop Racer is an annual event in Japan

Generally speaking games released annually have the customer base to do so

Mario, to sell in europe i seriously think your going to have to have at least editable jockeys and horse names. Just so we can mae it a bit more local for us.

Create a jockey would be good. Create a track would be brilliant as well!

Sell it to the oil barons in saudi arabia etc. They love their horses. But no betting. I think.

worldwide this game could sell 10 times RL2

countries like........HK, Japan, USA where most sales will come from, wont even see NRL2

I assume this horse racing game must be a dual NTSC/PAL release....if ur gonna crack the US or Japan market its gotto be NTSC.

The fact NRL2 isnt NTSC is evidence this game is bigger, or is projected to sell alot more

How do you play it? Like do you have to tap the buttons fast to make the horse run and does the horse have stamina etc.?
