Have Super League players had their player likeness taken for RL2WCE?
Or just NRL players again?

I thought that they did the Super League ones as well for the original release. Can anyone confirm that?

HES never had the rights for the likenesses of Super League Players. Only NRL. That is still the case.

Thanks for clearing that up. If HES never had rights for the Super League, then how come RL2 was able to include the competition? Was it a compromise?

They had the rights for the Super League competition, but not for the likenesses of the Super League players. The NRL is able to offer that in their licensing contract, the Super League is not.
