First up, loved the game. Second, loved the soundtrack.

The soundtrack really shows an attention to the world design in each level, creating a symbiotic relationship between the visuals and the soundtrack. So much so, that when I listen to the soundtrack without the visuals, I still visualise the space the game exists in. Even more so with the boss track, I find my heart rate pumping, my fight or flight response kicks in and I get the crazy eyes that make my friends think i'm strange.

Anyway, I would love to see some kind of patch or DLC addon to the game that would allow me to play the soundtrack with the appropriate in-game visuals. Heck I'd even pay if the price was reasonable. My wish would be to have each music track unlocked after each level was completed, then it could be accessible via the main menu. The visuals could consist of that background 3D model that sits behind each level and serves as the transition visual between each part of the level. Some limited interactivity during playback would be amazing also, maybe just some simple camera control or something.

All the elements are there to make it happen, and it would be a wonderful addition to the package.

That's a great idea.

Module (the musician who did the music) certainly took a lot of inspiration from the visuals of each world when working on the soundtrack. Amethyst Caverns is a great example - it's his interpretation of the Batt being so happy that he's singing along to himself.

We've been playing with that idea, but in the live space. When we had the release party, Module played the Sound Track Live (http://www.3news.co.nz/Module-lends-music-skills-to-hit-videogame-Shatter/tabid/728/articleID/114541/cat/177/Default.aspx) and for future Module gigs, there might be visualisation of each world as he plays that track. Taking that back into the game environment would be great as well. I'll suggest it to the team when they are looking at future updates.
