Tampa Bay Buccaneers. We've been on the downslide since winning Super Bowl XXXVII, but with a good draft next month I think they can pull out a 9-7 season if we can get as many people healthy through the season as possible. Talk continues that the Bucs are looking at drafting gun wide receiver Mike Williams out of USC, which would give the Bucs an awesome WR core: Michael Clayton, Mike Williams and Joey Galloway.

i might like the NFL if it wasnt so slow and they didnt hide behind so much padding, but i cant really say who i like because without foxtel the average joe just doesnt know whats happening in the NFL

Miami Dolphins & Philidephia. I probably like Miami more mainly cause of watching Marino when I was 4 (the best not to win a superbowl, unfortunatley :( ). I hope they get a good rb from the draft or a trade we need one badly.

They're not 'hiding' behind padding. This is a giant misconception I reguarly hear from Australian and English non-gridiron fans.
Take a guy like Defensive End Simeon Rice from the Buccaneers. Simeon is 6 ft. 5 (about 198 cm) 268 pounds (about 120kg). He is friggen fast for someone of that stature, and strong as an ox. And there are bigger, stronger guys out there, believe me.
Now take a guy like Brett Favre, Quarterback for the Packers. Favre is about 184 cms and weighs just about 100kgs.
Now imagine Brett Favre is standing still with the ball, looking upfield for an open receiver. Simeon Rice charges through the Packers offensive line, and makes a bee line for Favre with a full head of steam behind him. Favre tries to dish the ball off quickly, but Rice is in his face and whams him, Favre goes down flat on his back. A guy runs towards and smashes a stationary guy who is 20kgs lighter and 14 cms shorter than he is.
Thats why they wear padding. Without it, there would be dozens of career ending injuries each year. No player would be able to play beyond 27 years of age. Players would end up with injuries they would carry the rest of their lives. What I posted is just one of an infinite amount of scenarios that could happen in a football game. And Simeon Rice is not of unique size, there are a lot of guys out there who are just the same.
The hits that NFL players dish out week after week are sickening. The protective equipment they wear is an absolute neccesity, no doubt about it.

The polls only allow ten options.

You're mistaken. New England have won 3 of the last 4, but didn't make the Super Bowl that one year. And Oakland didn't win.
New England beat St.Louis in Super Bowl 36
Tampa Bay beat Oakland in Super Bowl 37
New England beat Carolina in Super Bowl 38
New England beat Philadelphia in Super Bowl 39
New England have made the Super Bowl five times. The three that they won in the past four years, one where they lost to the Packers (Super Bowl 31)and another one in the 80s where they lost to the Chicago Bears.

Oh, I wasn't trying to single you out or anything or talk down to you or anything. I hope you don't think that. :)

Yea why arn't the packers there.
Why would you make a poll that doesnt include every team.
And if you cant have that many options in a poll, then dont even bother making one.

Philly, mainly because McNabb was the fastest QB in Madden 03 (about the time I got foxtel and thus could watch a couple of games per week), and I could run around like a dummy half. They finally made the Super Bowl this year, but lost in a close one which because i had school, i wanted to watch the replay on SBS at Midnight, but i made it through school, and 2 seconds after i get home, i turned on the tele, and the ****** 4 oclock news bar flashed across the scoreline. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO i cried.

Miami don't actually need a rb they have ricky williams back who is the most damaging rb in the game
