So, it'd seem the game is pretty moddable, which is great. However, it also seems that there's no recognition of this within the game - which would be a problem when you factor in leaderboards. Those aren't worth much unless people are playing the same game, which is not necessarily true in this case. The point of this isn't really to keep people from faking their scores (because this isn't going to stop them, anyway), but to not have people's stats screwed up simply because they were fooling around with some cool user-created map.

My proposed solution is simple: disable leaderboard updates if PKCMN.pak with the proper MD5 hash isn't present. This way it'd still be possible to play mods (hopefully someone crazy enough will turn the Shatner mod to reality :P), but they'd be separate from the proper game as far as online statistics are concerned.
