The same old stuff that happened last time. You set and date and could not keep up with it, the result was a bunch of guttered fans. So, as you have posted on this forum, you dont set a release date, but give an estimate month, being September. The result is again a bunch of guttered fan (Im not speaking for all, I know some dont care...)...

Fair enough that we never got a date, just a month. But in the end, it had the same outcome. Do you really think you were in a position to give us an estimated month? What was the point in not giving a date, if you gave us an incorrect month in fear of an incorrect date?

I'll wait and the game will be sensational, you just should have never raised our hopes like that of RL1...

I don't think any fans would have been happy for us to have announced the game and not provided a ballpark estimate on when it might come out.

Shifting release dates is a problem in the games industry because of the unpredictable nature of game development and the many parties involved. Its something unfortunately experienced by smaller companies such as us through to larger companies like EA. Kind of a "damned if you do, damned if you don't" situation.

Sometimes you get it right, sometimes you don't. Heck, our GripShift for PSP game has even had its date moved up from 19 September to 13 September.

Hopefully, people respect our decision in this case to make sure the game can be the best it possibly can rather than throw it on the shelves and hope for the best.

Patience is the key.

Rugby League 1 was delayed and was still jam packed full of bugs and looked horribly underdone.

I would much prefer that the development team had another couple of months to iron out and polish the package rather than trying to rush it out onto the market to appease a handful of 12 year olds that post on an internet froum.

I'm just sick of playing RL1 and Counter-Strike waiting for this game to come out!

I respect the decision and like i said in another thread im glad it has been delayed.

What i do suggest not just for Sidhe but for all developers why not just use a Comming Soon??? Dont even note a date? The movie industry does this sometimes.

They say comming soon and then without warning boom its there.

Yes then theres the old problem of people asking when and where. But then all u do is keep them informed of what stage u are at.

this getting really stupid!
i mean mario can you tell us what is wrong with the game and a reason why its taking so long. I think you guys should now extend that pre order before september 8th and get a free team controller deal, if you want any interest in the game to last!
I believe the NRL game wasn't that bad, i know it had bugs but all games do.
And give us more screenshots or even a downloadable demo with the bugs on it so people can enjoy the difference!

Mario has already noted on the bug problems in another thread.

Screenshots will be coming soon. Mario again stated in another thread.

At the moment I'd say wait until 2006 and launch the game at the beginning of the new season with the modified teams.

By the time the game now comes out it's going to be outdated.

Coming soon will be a lot better next time if there is a next time, then announce the date when it is set in stone.
