I am a little young to know a lot of tupacs stuff, i have some songs, but thats about it.

D12's first album was amazing, easily the 2nd best rap album i've listened too.

Eminem and 50 cent are in decline, 50's latest album was crap, and so was eminems.

The best rap album is a very recent one:

Album : The Documentary
Artist : The Game

He is in a similar vein to 50 cent, but all of his songs are good, not just the first couple. If you don't have it, buy it at the store (if it's out) or aquire it online.

I mainly listen to 2pac, Fabolous, Chingy, The Game and a heap of other rappers.

Im in the middle, i enjoy rap and rock. But i dont mean rapers like Chingy that is pop rap. I like rappers who have good rhymes and stuff and not just talk about themselves whihc most do.

Anyone who ignores genre's just to be "cool" is limiting themselves. I listen to many different genre's, and if you don't like rap, you don't like rap, but at least listen to it, not just bag it out. Not directed at anyone, just people on the net that go "omg rap forgot to put the c in front it's Crap Lolz!1231".

Rap might be ok if the arrogance went out of it and we could see the actual talent. It has nothing on songs which are written for good music and touching lyrics and not so that a film clip of a house party can be made.

nothing can beat the actual good MUSIC of classic bands like the rolling stones, the who, the beatles etc and the new stuff of powderfinger, grinspoon, matchbox 20, the living end, bon jovi etc etc. Its not about genres its about the music

i just find it amazing how in 1999 none of you had heard of any of these people and 6 years later theres is a BILLION rappers out there. 6 years ago-NOTHING. now everything IS rap. most pop songs have a bit where it cuts to a rapper. its intimidating

i listen 2 punk and rap but mainly punk. 2 complatly different genres. dont listen 2 rap much anymore coz all the songs r gettin the same i recon dr dre, snoop and most of eminems r good. but i agree with the other guy that said 50 cents new alben is crap which it is :mad: but the new eminem 1 is allrite. but overall i get sikk of rap coz its all like 8mile and stuff. PUNK IS BETTER but rap is o.k :)

I never used to like Rap but now i love it. I like some commerical rappers like Chingy and The Game..etc but 2pac, Biggie, Fabolous (maybe fab..) are just awesome. Tupac is by far the best ever.

I agree with that. I think if you can't compose your own material, your not a real musician. I think there are so many more talented people out there who write their own stuff and can't get a record deal because fakes like britney spears have them.

Obviously you have never really listned to any real rap artist like 2Pac coz Dear Mama and Brenda's got a baby would have to be some of the most touching lyrics i have ever heard so maybe you should go buy 2pac's Greatest Hits and you might stop being so iggnorant and realise that just coz they rap don't mean the lyrics arnt heart felt and touching
