Default from 1-10 what do you rate RLWC?

I'd give it a 6/10 what does everyone else rate it?

I'd give it a 5.

Pros

-Marginally improved gameplay - no more running into touch just after catching the ball thank god.
-I like the new menu screens and music
-New defensive options such as a sliding or compressed defence.
-I like the stats that come up mid-game about certain players

Cons

-Far too many injuries
-Far too many knock ons
-fantastically annoying problem with saving your changes after customizing the game

But for me the biggest problem is that it just appears so rushed and quickly put together.
First of all there's the timing, it should have been ready and released before the end of the domestic season but instead its released (in the UK anyway) a few days after the World Cup has finished.

Then there are some obviously rushed things like the stadiums, according to Mario's FAQ Headingley stadium is updated.
No its not. Well maybe they've changed a few advertising boards, but from 2006 there has been a big new stand at Headingley and that isnt included in the "updated Headingley stadium"
Plus nearly all the Super League venues capacities are wrong:

Galpharm - 15,000 - is actually 24,500
KC - 15,000 - is actually 25,404
GPW (Knowsley Road) - 10,000 - is actually 17,500
JJB Stadium - 40,000 - is actually 25,135
Grattan Stadium (Odsal) - 15,000 - is actually 27,000
Headingley Carnegie Stadium - 10,000 - is actually 22,000
Manchester (Old Trafford) - 40,000 - is actually 76,212

Other things such as:
Hull KR's home stadium is set to the KC (Hull FC's home ground) and not to New Craven Park (ask any Hull KR fan and they wont be happy!)
Harlequins home ground set to Griffin Park (they havent played there since 2005) and not to Twickenham Stoop.

Plus there are players like Jason Crookes, Anthony Thackeray and Mike Bennett in the England squad, not to mention Chev Walker who's been put in the starting line up!
Jason Crookes hasnt even made his first team debut yet.

I know they're only small things and most are easily changed or ignored but it shows to me a lack of preparation (eg the stadiums, it only takes 5 mins online to find the capacity of a stadium), a lack of knowledge of the game (eg not knowing Chev Walker wouldnt be starting for England), and that the game was so rushed and quickly put together that to be honest its pathetic for a so-called professional company to take the credit for and ask us all to buy.

I know there are a few problems but any updated rugby league game gives us more chance to see more down the track the next console I buy will be rugby league based.

Overall I still love the game the franchise mode should allow user to be offered contracts at other clubs and more chance to make money through sponsors and have medical rehab scales from cheap as to expensive to get players back quicker even though long term injury sometimes brings value down

I think the acceleration should be the shoulder button were sidestep is as it makes it easier to use the right stick and up on the right stick should be power play(shoulder barge) and back should be fend. I rate it overall 7/10 although the graphics are a bit naff compared to the computer.

It is a 7 only because of the fact that the franchise mode on League God has the annoying financial issues.

I'd give it a 7. good improvements to general play and there has been some improvements to the graphics. A few annoying problems, attention to detail not quite there (ie stadium capacities) but who cares, its the quality of the game I want!

I didnt even know old trafford was used for rugby league.

Isnt it being expanded too? Or is that just me, as i thought it was being expanded to like 80,000

Just found out that they are trying to build a new south stand that would expand the capacity to 96,00 all seater, bigger than wembley

i give it an 8 - this is the first RL game I've played and so can't compare to previous releases but personally I love it. Yeh, there are cons, of which some have been touched on in this thread but the game as it stands is a lot of fun and can only get better.

It is used for the Super League Grand Final every year, they've held internationals there aswell.

Luckily the stadium isn't just wasted on football (soccer)!
